Looking west on Third Street from Broadway, 1959-2010

With the exception of the corner building in the right foreground, the intersection of Third and Broadway appears largely the same today as it did a half-century ago. However, Third Street is just about unrecognizable any further west, after being completely flattened during the 1960s in the course of Bunker Hill’s redevelopment. A closer look at the damage is forthcoming.
